Movie Poster Promo

My trailer name is "Dumb and dumber Tree". The main characters that You will see on the movie poster are Lloyd Christmas and harry Dunne, Who are acted by Zephen Kaneakua and Steven Villenueva. They are struggling with pushups, which is supposed to be funny, but I dont really think it is.They are in front of Kapa'a Middle school.

We named our movie Trailer "Dumb and Dumber Tree" because Its dumb and Dumber,Shouldn't it be funny? There is much other text other than the title on the Movie Poster like The actors,Critiques and critics,then later I will be adding Words down the middle that will say,"Will They Win?"Kerning is adjusting the room or space of figure to make the word or sentence Proportional. Also Sometimes to make the words in a sentence look more appealing to the person who is reading it.It is Very fun to use.

I think My Use of the affects effects the person Who is Looking.Like one layer effect is Bevel and Emboss.With that layer affect,you can make just plain white words turn into really awesome words!Also One Effect on my poster is Stroke,what you probably know what it means.I think If You see My poster,you'll see the effects of the effects .

Proactive or Procrastination?

Sometimes I procrastinate,but on the most part, I don't. I think if You are proactive more work gets done, and You can work on different work if you want. I think I am proactive because much of my homework has been turned in on time for Mid Quarter. Although I went on a trip on the weekend of  the Mid Quarter, I tried to turn in all my homework . So over all, I think I am pretty proactive.

I think I am proactive,but I don't balance out the time to hang out and to be proactive.Sometimes If I just had ice cream or another sweet and I am really energetic,I tend to get my work done. Sometimes though if I'm really tired and out of working,I get something really easy done in like an hour.So when Im proactive,I really am proactive.So sometimes if I get work done,I really have a fun time after.

If I were to change some of my work habits,I would change working to much. I would change that habit because sometimes I really get into work,and I cant Stop! I would change that by Just maybe loosening my belt a little and just relax.That could probably help me a lot.So even though I am Proactive, I would want to be a Procrastinator for a little bit just to cut myself some slack.

My Visual Poem

 The title of my Visual Poem is "fitness". I have did this topic because I enjoy fitness,and also because my dad owns a gym.In the beginning,it just shows many people working out.I think that the people working out really makes the people feel that they are at the gym watching the people work out,or maybe even feel like you are working out.Also shows people frolicking,so it gives you a good feeling.

On a few of the pictures,I added the Ken Burns effect,which is basically like the visual zooming in or zooming out. I didn't have time to color effects because I wanted to turn the visual poem in on time.I would've made some color effects on the picture of my dad surfing.I also put in music in the background,like 80s jazz music.I put in some pictures of just like random things like blobs and concrete so that those pictures can cover the spots I never filmed.

I'm am satisfied,and not satisfied.Im not satisfied because those random pictures didn't have to be in there.I just put those substitute pictures in there because I never got some filming.I got the filming that I needed. I am satisfied because the filming that I was able to get,It turned out pretty good.Like The filming in the very beginning.It showed a bunch of people lunging.I think I did Pretty good on the Visual Poem,but I could have done way better.

Finished News Story

Our story was about YesI skate shop. We interviewed Cameron Lovelace,who is the owner of YesI skate shop. We also interviewed kids who are sponsored including Kyle(Don't know last name),and Kaloe Aguiar. All of my teammates contributed to it. Those teammates are Orria Niitsu,Nathan Gardner,and Tyler Pagela. Also Our teacher,Mr Sanderl because he taught us all the things we needed to have a good HikiNo video.

The final turned out not bad,but could have a few more improvements. One improvement could be the b-roll,like to place the b-roll in the right place. Also we could've got a few interviews because the interview with Cameron Lovelace was like 3/4 of the video. So it could've been shorter. So I am
happy and also not happy with our results.

I agree with our critique results because our story had many flaws.We got many 3s.Some audio was out of tune.A lot of the B-roll never matched with the A-Roll.So the Critique pretty much matched with what the video had.We could've done better,but we did not.

Real world report

49ers: Is there an offensive identity crisis?

My story is about the San Francisco 49ers.It tells that some members think that there is an identity crisis.Jim Harbough(head coach of 49ers)stated"In terms of identity, we're about moving the football, picking up first downs, scoring points, scoring touchdowns". I think that jim harbaugh is right. When you come to a roadbl0ck,you have to smash through it. This year the 49ers had a lot players that did a lot f bad stuff, including  Colin Kapearnick, the quarterback of the team.

I think that the members of the 49ers are right. I personally heard that some other teams had an identity crisis,so I believe that. Like I said in the first paragraph , Some players on the 49ers did some very bad things. Its not just the 49ers though. Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings hurt his son on purpose. So the 49ers aren't the only team with players who did bad things.                                                                                                                                                                                                            You don't have to care about this news story. You can just maybe think about the news story. Think like what will happen if the best players of some of the teams do very bad stuff. If they do bad things,they might get kicked off of the teams,and the whole team can suffer. So you don't have to care about the news story,maybe you can just think about it.

Lessons learned

We(Tyler,Nathan,Orria and I) are doing our project on Cameron Lovelace,who is the owner of The Yes i skate shop in Kapaa. I think the most interesting part of my project is probably doing the B-roll sequences. It is interesting because I love skateboarding,and its cool to watch really good skaters do their tricks. I learned a lot already about skateboarding. Also, it is interesting to learn how to do final cut pro. My dad told me that it is a very useful resource.              
   
Our biggest roadblock so far has been trying to get all the team together in one place for filming B-roll and interviews. We have done when two or three people have been there, but we haven't done when all of us were there. We have rammed through that roadblock by getting together in class and working as hard as we can.



The most important part of filmmaking is planning out three of the 5 Ws. Where,where the filming is going to take place.When,when you are going to film the footage.Finally,who,who you are going to film.To me,I think that is the most important part of the filmmaking progress .


 

HikiNo Behind the scenes

My project is on Cameron Lovelace,the owner of Yes I skate shop. My team mates are Orria,Tyler and Nathan.We are getting a lot of progress in final cut pro.We are working a lot to try to finish our project. We are going to try our best to make this the best profile story.

When the camera is not rolling,you have to be ready for what is coming. Sometimes you might not not even know that the camera isn't rolling. You always have to be ready for what's ahead. Also if on Final Cut Pro,your work might not save and all the progress will be lost. You have to expect the unexpected when the camera isn't rolling.

One thing I can do to help this team is to learn how to do the Final Cut Pro. I am new to a bunch of this computer stuff,so when my partners are doing the work,I don't really know what's coming. My partners have been doing a lot of the work. I did the transcriptions for the first interview. I also did a lot in the section story pitch in the writing tools. I haven't done like all the work, but I tried my best to do a lot.
